The design of this wood surface project features wide, sinuous curves that create variable lengths of shadows, giving the product a harmonious line. Subtle striations, more pronounced grooves, and minimal or accentuated grains help create captivating chiaroscuro effects.

Two textures were created using pressed veneers with a mold. The result is a surface that feels pleasant to the touch, similar to solid wood. The first texture recalls the handcrafted furniture of Indonesian tradition, while the second was inspired by the actual scanning of the base of a basket with a dense rattan weave.

Additionally, three milled surfaces were designed: Fold, Fold Long, and Ripple, inspired by a journey through the Moroccan desert. The textures feature an elegant sequence of lines that evoke the continuous flow of sand shaped by the wind. The surfaces are characterized by slight variations in depth and reliefs.
